Finnish visit by Loli Sánchez.
Some days
ago, our teacher told us that some Finnish teachers would be coming to visit
us.
We prepare a presentation about
Valencia and Spain. We also wrote letters for their Finnish Students with our
e-mail address so when they read our letters they can write to us.
I think to write to other English
Students is one of the best opportunities I’ve ever had in my English Course.
They visited our Last Tuesday March 23rd, They came early. The first thing
we did was to record a video when we said our name.
They are Teachers in an Adult
School.
One of them, Ira, is a dancer
teacher and Satu and Laura are English teachers.
We started with our presentation, I
think that they liked it a lot.
Then we could ask them about
Finland: Weather, costums, traditions…
Ricardo gave them rice, Gracia made
a cake, We offered them typical Spanish food and we tried Finnish chocolate,
sweets, rye bread…
At the same time in La Pobla de
Vallbona, there was a dancing class and we saw Ira, dance.
It was such a good day that
everybody enjoyed it a lot.
We have met people from another
country.
To finish, In my opinion this experience
should be repeated every year.
